The current roof will be updated to accommodate insulation and the the new addition. Roofing materials will be metal. We have chosen the type of roof and color from Epic Steel in Missoula. 

We’d like at least skylight on the north side of the roof over the stairs. We would like to consult with the contractor on best options for this as we’d like something of good quality so we can avoid any issues. Any additional skylights will depend on whether or not we forgo the second floor addition.

We will want the contractor to include roofing the kitchen and the front porch in their plans.
